I always kill cockatrice for them, they're not high level and they drop plenty other good stuff too.

guards by far. they are easy to kill and i get the clue scroll. ive gotten full addy (g) from those guys.

I got cockatrice as a slayer assignment, and a scroll dropped after only 12 kills. I reccomend those too.

well i get much from ardougne guard

i got about 5 lvl 2 clues from ardougne guards... in 2 days! my total net catch from everything was about 400k

I have had one pyrefiend asignment, and i got about 5 clues before i was done with it. Daggonaths are the highst lvl monsters that drop lvl 2 clues.

Definitely guards if your not in the mood for a challenge

I've never had good luck with guards. Pyrefiends and Cockatrices yes.

Well I've been killing Varrock guards by castle for an hour trying to get one, no luck yet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Are the Ardougne ones better?

The drop rate on clue scrolls is completly random. It's also been proven that the ring of wealth does not increase chances of getting them. That being said I would say kill varrock guards or something. You'll get one eventually since they are easy to kill. You'd probably get better stuff from cockatrices, but it might take longer since you can kill guards faster.

Exactly what he said The drop of scrolls is Completely Random no monster has a higher chance of giving you a scroll than another I always kill gaurds for my clue scrolls I personally like them the best.
