jw125
The ratios are wrongThe decimal point in them needs to be moved to the left one digit this happened after the Constitution update Merged the two first posts together ~Juhniz
Codguy
Thank you for your concern jw125. We've noticed that some of the ratios are incorrect in the Bestiary Database, and we're currently looking into it. However, I would like to ask. What do you mean about moving the decimal point to the left? An example would be the Living Rock Patriarch: Level of 200, with 4,000 Life Points. This would make the ratio as 4,000/200 to be 20. So by moving the decimal point to the left by 1 digit, that would make the ratio 2. Is this what you're implying? Because currently, as far as I can tell, the ratios that are incorrect, are the ones that are still HP/level, rather than the LP/level that we've been converting. -Codguy
jw125
Yes this is what I meant. Taking the number 20, which is what the ratio is currently, and moving the decimal point after the 20 to the left one digit, so that it is 2.0, or
jw125
And I haven't seen any that are correct recently, but that may just be because I haven't been looking through the Bestiary for correct ones
Vulxai
Yes this is what I meant. Taking the number 20, which is what the ratio is currently, and moving the decimal point after the 20 to the left one digit, so that it is 2.0, or 2 The ratio is LP/Level, so taking Codguy's example, 4000/200 (LP/Level) gives you 20, which is the ratio, so that would be correct as is. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
jw125
The ratio should be 2 since, in the "How to use the Bestiary" guide it says that the ratio is Lp/10/Level, so where, in the above, its 4000/200= 20, that skips the 4000/10 part, so it would be 4000/10/200=

Codguy
Alright now! So, we've been looking into the matter, and realized that some of the coding never got changed. Silly us  So we're currently fixing this so that everything matches up. If you notice any errors in the future, don't hesitate to say something :) And if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to PM me. Thanks for your help. -Codguy

Ratio is being calculated as ((Life Points / 10) / Level).
Jard_Y_Dooku
Are you saying you manually enter the ratio? Why not just have the computer calculate it? Never trust anyone. Vulxai
Are you saying you manually enter the ratio? Why not just have the computer calculate it? Actually, I believe we do have a script to calculate it, it just wasn't properly edited, but as Xena stated, this has been fixed. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Xena_Dragon
Are you saying you manually enter the ratio? Why not just have the computer calculate it? That's not what I'm saying. We do use a formula to calculate the ratio. However, the ratio is used in various scripts on the site. So while I think I caught them all, it might very well be possible that I missed a spot somewhere. [hide][/hide]
