IrianGunner
I've wanted to become active in the runescape community for awhile now. I want to become involved because I enjoy this game a whole lot. I even hope to become a pmod eventually to show I am active in the community and willing to participate. There's always been one giant question, though. How do I become active in such an old and ancient community?
J35u5_M4
This belongs to Help & Advice (I think). If you want to be involved in the community, just be friendly in-game and be active on the official forums...Helping people out, organizing events, attending JaGeX hosted events and helping maintaining control I guess
SirIzenhime
Also avoid being too WBMish. Some people think that if they go around reporting every little violation, that they'll get Modship in a few days. This isn't at all what Jagex is looking for. Basically, Play the game right, be active on the forums, maybe report someone here and there, but don't go overboard with it. Just have fun, and hope for the best. Bladewing
I'd pay $10 a month to see PMods removed and have Jagex-paid employees moderating. People who are power hungry/attention seekers like that disgust me. Nothing against the nice people who became mods as a consequence of their personality and demeanor. Skeptical
Join a clan, post on the RS forums, or even here, just be nice to people and help out others. Maybe you'd enjoy making RS videos? My cuz is a videomaker, and it's a pretty tight community. "Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security."
