Full Dragon or Barrows

Hello Tip.it, I once left Runescape in 2006 and have returned a few weeks ago only to find the game has changed immensely. With all these changes I was wondering what armor should I spend my money on as armor to train in, full dragon or barrows. I wanted to see what you all prefer and why. Thanks in advance.

Let them fear as I walk past.

For overall training and combat, use barrows. Dragon is just for showing off IMO, it has worse stats, and the costs of repairing barrows is very low, especially because you should only use the plate and legs parts. For a helmet use the helm of Neitiznot and for a weapon use a whip, or sara sword for strength.

There are three sides to every story: There's one side, there's the other, and there's the truth.

I couldn't say it better :)

I never liked dragon anyway, and barrows is cheaper than d plate/chain + it has way better def (torag plate & legs has highest melee def)

If you repair at your playerowned house it's cheapest. I do it everytime my armor reaches 25. The higher your smithing level, the cheaper the repairs are! :)

Good luck!

2016 goals: all skills +30mil xp - Completed this goal 11th December 2016 smile.gif
2017 goals: get at least 3 more master capes (start xp: invention done@21st Jan, mining done@2nd April & ranged 76/104mil done@June 20th) & all skills +40mil xp (done 24th August)

Agreed =]

Also, Dharoks Pl8 + Legs, Torag Pl8 + Legs have the same defence. Verac Skirt and Torag/Dh legs have same defence with the exception V skirt has 0 negative mage def to the -4 of torag legs and t legs have 92 range defence to V skirt's 84.

Don't forget the V skirt has +4 prayer bonus which is 1 less than prosy legs.

And Verac's skirt has a +3 prayer bonus, making it invaluable whenever you decide to use boosting prayers while not using protection prayers -- in fact, Proselyte Plate with Verac's skirt is one of the best outfits to use for slayer if you use piety on tasks.

No need to re-post a reply. This guy's summed it up for me.
