November 15, 200520 yr ive killed about 100 guards and 450 men/women and still havent got 1!!! ive grown about 2 combat lvls - 70-72. what am i doing wrong?!? :cry: :?: :!: :?:
November 16, 200520 yr if you wear a ring of wealth and a amulet of glory you get more change to get a clue scroll. i have got 3 clues. 1 from a h.a.m. member, 1 from a man and 1 from a guard. :D :D good luck
November 16, 200520 yr I've done 100s of clue scrolls and it seems random. Sometimes I have to kill 200 Blue Dragons to get a clue scroll, sometimes I kill 6 and get a new clue scroll. I never had good luck with guards for level 2 clue scrolls. Try cockatrices or pyrefiends if you can. For level 1 clues try HAMs or Al-Kahrid warriors. I haven't seen any benefit to wearing a ring of wealth.
November 16, 200520 yr What you're doing wrong? You can only have one clue at a time, do you have one in bank? I've stopped playing RuneScape. KoL's better.
November 18, 200520 yr For level 1's, I had a ton of luck with that one lone guy at the eastern Karamja dock as well as pickpocketing HAMs. It nevenr took more than 30 minutes, and got full black in a couple of days. ..did get a level 1 from of thug after whacking them for a few hours. After whacking about 600 Varrock guards I gave up on them for a level 2, but got one after 10 minutes of playing today :/ After that, yep it's cockatrices.
November 19, 200520 yr um think u are in f2p or u just like .... ahh well i've killed like 300 hells and got like 20 or more so clues and i got around 300 blues and i got maybe 15 one of my friends got 13 cluyes in one night from hells
November 20, 200520 yr It's definitely random. I must have killed 100+ Ice Warriors one afternoon, hoping for a level two clue scroll...when I finally gave up and was leaving, I accidently clicked on a mugger, and got a level one scroll from him. :roll:

I once killed about 100 guards without one...then I once randomly killed a guard and got one... it is partly true... i know that ring of wealth does increases drop rate of clues but im not sure bout glory amulet though... i juz started my members and it seems guards gimme my clues pretty quickly... i got 2 clues yesterday, one gotten while i was thiefing silk stall and guard attacked me... the other 1 was when i was hunting, took like 20-30guards quite fast i tink... but got screwed up items >.<
December 5, 200520 yr you probably already checked, but make sure you don't have one in the bank, i went a week thinking the game was leaving me out on the fun then I noticed i had one in the bank and didn't realize it...
January 10, 200620 yr I absolutely know ring of wealth and glory dont work!! I killed about 450 hounds with both eqquipped and i finally got 1 =( the clue was junk also.
January 18, 200620 yr well i killed barbarians 4 1 week and got notink of interest i got bones and stuff and then my frend shows up hits 1 and hes got a clue i was........ :wall:
January 19, 200620 yr Chaelder assigned me 155 jellies. The first 100 or so yielded 4 clue scrolls after which I kept going after the assignment was over and after killing 100+ more got no more clues, though I did get a rune full helm from one of thir drops. The clues all contained rune stuff that I already have but gave a good sum when I alched them. I also got a torn page(3) for Saradomin, which i already have in my book, which needs 2 more pages. Another amusing clue adventure was when I was assigned to fight 16 bronze dragons. I fought 3 and got a scroll which yielded, among other things, a rune kite shield. I was psyched. I equipped it and went charging back to Brimhaven to fight more bronzes. I got killed amost imediately because I forgot to use my dragonfire shield and when i came to in Falador my shield was gone, and after dozens of level 3 clues I have yet to find another rune kite. January 20, 200620 yr THAT SOUNDS LIKE IT HURT . AND TRUST ME I KNOW HW IT FEELS CUZ I DID THE SAME THING ONCE , BUT MY TIME WAS A LITTLE DIFFRENT . YOU SEE I WAS DOING D SLAYER AND WENT THERE WITH A DEATH DEALING BLOW PUTTING ME OUT. AND TO MAKE IT WORST HIGHER LVLS JUST STOOD AROUND THE GATE WAITING ON MY DEATH. SO WE BOTH HAVE LET THESE THINGS SLIP OUR MINDS. OH WELL LOL . BUT TO BE TRUTHFULL WHEN IT FIRST HAPPEND I WAS LIKE :shock:
