As you can see, the 10% bonus is only affecting the defense percentage.

It's been like this for me for a long time.

I've sent in a bug report, but no response for at least 3-4 weeks.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Waterfiends don't use attack and strength because they do not attack with melee.

Waterfiends don't have attack or strength levels, so you get no bonus. No bug here.

I see. I was looking at the combat level, rather than individual attack/strength/defense levels. Oops. :(
