Haha. Yes you were, and thank you :P I'm doing a little Prayer right now, but I'll be getting off soon. It's nice outside

Are you also going for Max Melee before you consider yourself done? If that's the case, I might actually have the advantage in this race

Maybe not max, but I certainly need improved melee. 85 slayer would be nice too. I dunno really.

Disclaimer: The above is probably inaccurate.

Today I make another few steps on my long journey to 95 Prayer. Perhaps I can break 95k Big Bones left today. Of course, that's only about half an hour away, so it's quite likely I will meet it

In other news:

I forgot to upload this before, but, best Treasure Trail reward ever!!

I also had a brief conversation in RuneScape with my race opponent today. I have discovered that I am very likely going to lose this race. Although I guess even that wouldn't be a terrible thing. I would still probably end up having gotten XP faster during the race than I would have otherwise.

HOWEVER!! This does not mean that I have given up on the race. I will still defeat my foe, nemesis, enemy, whatever you want to call him.

Oddly enough, he happened to PM me as I took that screenshot lol.

I am now just a couple hours away from 87 Prayer. I will probably get this level tomorrow some time.

In other news:

I have decided that after 95 Prayer, I will be going for 80 Dungeoneering. The motivation for this decision you may ask?

I want one of these:

Chaotic_kiteshield.gif

The Chaotic Kiteshield, with its amazing defence stats, 10% damage reduction against Melee, and 20% damage reduction against Range, seems like a great upgrade for my GWD gear. While Chaotic Longsword also was very tempting, I will be going with the Kiteshield, at least for now

I am now home from camping. Unfortunately, I have quite a bit of homework to do... Even though I will probably not be making much progress on my Prayer training the next week or so, at least now that I'm back home I can keep the blog up to date.

I have not had a real day of school in almost two weeks, with the 5 days of AP testing, a single full day of school with other students in testing, and then two straight days of all-day field trips. I'm really not looking forward to Monday. Wednesday marks the due date of my 10-page English paper (not looking forward to that either). Hopefully after that, things will begin to slow down at school, although I feel like I've been saying that for a while now, without things actually slowing down.

Also, I have heard that the new Dungeoneering shields drain very quickly when used in high-damage situations. Any opinions on whether they are worth it or not?

Most people I talk to think the weapons are a far higher priority, and the necklace too. Then maybe the shield. If you'll be GWDing, it'll be mostly likely as a damager not a tank, given your herb and future prayer. If I were you I'd go for CLS.

Disclaimer: The above is probably inaccurate.

Yeah, I'm beginning to think that I'm probably better off going with the Arcane Stream Necklace first, because it's such a huge upgrade for mage, and the CLS after that. I still think the shield would be really helpful for Bandos, especially for soloing, but it's probably not worth it, especially since the CLS would also be great for soloing.

It is now time to write my 10-page senior paper for English class. I'm really not looking forward to this, but at least the subject could be worse (I get to write about Lord of the Rings to some extent :^_^: ). I have really been limited as to how much time I can devote to Prayer training each day, but that doesn't mean I have given up. I do still intend to get 95 Prayer using Big Bones, and once I get some more free time, I will be well on my way to doing so. Following Prayer will be Dungeoneering and some GWD, to try and build my bank back up.

Wish me luck on my paper. The intro being done is a good start right?

Tonight I finally have some time to get in a decent amount of Prayer training.

Granted, this is not because I don't have homework, but because I will not be in school tomorrow and so am not doing any homework  Of course, I also won't be home tomorrow because I'm going on a field trip, so tomorrow won't be a great day for Prayer.

In other news:

After completing Buyers and Cellars, and Fairy Tale Part III, I got my Quest Cape back

It seems like you too have quite a lot of stuff to finish off in school. Just like you I can't wait for school to finish so that I can concentrate on RS more.

Congratulations on all the nice progress. Keep it up and good luck! You're almost halfway there now :)

Yeah, the combination of all of the fun senior-year activites, combined with the not-so-fun papers and projects doesn't leave a whole lot of time to do much else (although I'm not complaining about the fun stuff :P). I graduate June 17th, and take my last final exam on the 11th, so it's almost over.

Thanks for the support :^_^:

3 end of the year assignments, a new job, senior prom, and more all seem to be getting in the way of Prayer training. Last night I was at a friend's house and was actually able to get in some decent XP (about 120k), but we spent most of our time doing other things, so it didn't end up being one of those 10-hour straight 500k Prayer XP nights. As I've said before, I just need school to be over, and then I can really get back to training Prayer.

And now, a screenshot...

Today marks my first time playing multiple times over one weekend in a while

Last night was my Senior Prom, which was fun, and loud lol. There was lots of good food, dancing, and friends. The one problem was the dance floor got ridiculously hot really quickly. Overall, definitely worth it.

Tonight, Prayer training time.

This morning I made the switch to Dragon Bones from Big Bones. This had several effects:

Pros:

1) 80k Big Bones became 7.5k Dragon Bones

2) I got 9m cash

3) I get to see my XP go up much faster

4) I get to move on to Dungeoneering sooner

Cons:

1) I am only getting 92 Prayer for now (I can't yet afford 95 with Dragon Bones)

2) I failed my Big Bones goal

3) I need about 30m more cash for 95 Prayer

And a screenshot:

Well, after my spree of 1m+ XP in 24 hours, I had to return to reality. Yesterday I went to Six Flags New England (a theme park/water park), with some of my friends. One of the friends had only been on one roller coaster ever, so of course we had to change that. We were some of the first people in the park as well, which meant a 10 minute wait for a ride that would normally be up to 2 hours

Today is homework day; I've got 3 projects due in the next two days...

Today was senior awards night at my school, and it ended up being another project night.

The project is an adaptation of William Chaucer's The Canterbury Tale's, more specifically The Pardoner's Tale. Summary: people drink, yell, and die. We threw the script together in about 20 minutes basing it off of Chaucher's story. My little brother and my friend's little brother acted some of the other parts. It says Mike did the editing, but that was just to make it seem like he did anything (I edited it). Overall, I don't think it turned out terribly for a couple hours max of working.

I uploaded the video to YouTube:
