erichkiller
Currently I am using a whip, dfs, torso, and veracs skirt to train my atk to 90. I am almost there and will be starting str training soon. However, I am not sure what wep and armor to use? Should I sell the dfs and get a bgs? Or should I use dscim with dfs? My friend recommends that I keep the dfs but I'm not so sure. Maybe I should get an ss? I have about 8 mil and can boost it up to 10 mil by selling some loot. What's your advice?
K4ylan
I'd say use an SS, but a Dragon Scimitar+Rune Scimitar is almost as good. Always use a Rune Defender over a DFS unless you absolutely need the defense, or are fighting Dragons. ~~~The Harpy List~~~Harpy Facts~~~It's Super Effective~~~The Beginning~~~Harpy Therapy Center~~~Alg~~~Jedi Harpy~~~Rohirrim~~~Attenuation~~~

Bladewing
Why does everyone like the defender over the DFS? Compare the strength bonus and defenses to the rune defender.Rune defender has +19 more slash attack and -2 less strength. It's been shown theoretically and empirically that the defender gives better xp rates while training. Bladewing
Dharoks is the fastest way to train strength. If you're killing the right thing. If you go dharoking something stupid like monkey guards, SS at a conventional training spot would be better. What you really want is Dharoks + Salve on almost anything undead with high hitpoints. qeltar
Virtually anywhere that you'd use a Sara Sword for conventional strength training, you'd be better off with Dharoks. But yes, there are better and worse places to do it. jjjon123
Sell dfs, use rune defender and buy sara sword and bandos chest, if you have the money you can buy tassets. Yes, but unless you plan on only training strength and are never going to touch attack and defense ever again, it's fastest. ~It's Super Effective! I'd really like to train slayer at the same time and I dont think dharoks will work that well with most slayer monsters.
Aiel
I dont think you'll be doing much boss hunting with your range/mage/prayer levels, so I'd sell the DFS and get a sara sword, tassets and a fighter torso, and a decent prayer level then when you use whip wear a rune defender. DFS isnt really worth much outside of MHing besides on dragons, and its not worth the 34m there. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). mooing_mouse1988116552133
SS is over rated. Get a D scim, Torso, Rune def, and preferably any non-dregradeable armor. If you're training at a place with rather high leveled monsters than you may choose DFS over Rune defender. I also recommend bringing super attack pots along with super strength or Drag battle axe. You sir are wrong. The statement u just gave is an opinion. Were going by facts and experiance. The SS is better then d scim + rune def. The difference in the xp that is gained by the ss just depnds on the monster. Atleast thats what i noticed when i used it to get 99 strength. Also i side note if u can afford the better weapon why wouldnt he use it? You can sell it back when you done and its a pretty stable item so ur not gunna lose anything on it really.
