  1. I want 75 crafting for slaying rings and was wondering if anyone could offer a good method. I'm willing to lose some money(preferably no more than 6m) for a method that's relatively fast. I don't want to include the xp multiplier for I may not be able to start until later in the week. Any suggestions?
  2. i honestly think there's more to it. Some people claim Mark and other Jagex employees leaked the update to specific people before the 24th. Think about it, why make the boots 75k when 1k-10k is way more reasonable. Plus, making them 75k pretty much nulls out their purpose: cheap, effective equipment. Someone on the official forums claimed the new boots protect over the fire cape.
  3. I just did Jad yesterday and noticed that the healing animation/sound would play, though I don't know whether he was healed. I ended up killing them because Jad spawned on Italy rock, making the task very easy. You'd probably be better off killing the healers instead of risking Jad being fully healed.
  4. I've managed to get to Jad two times so far only to die due to the healers. First time at Jad I panicked and auto-retaliate messed me up, second time Jad was at Italy rock and I got 3/4 healers on me but the last one was stuck between the rock and Jad. Tips from the masters please?
  5. What is your thoughts on the crystal shield?
  6. Yes, I haven't gotten the chance to buy any super restores. Just replace all those restores with supers and you'll have my inv. ~Also how many super restore doses should I drink for every sara brew dose?
  7. Will this work? My stats are 70 pray, 80 range, 85 defense, and 93 HP. [/img] Also since the update I've heard the healers' behavior has changed. Do I need to kill them or just attack them and use steel skin?
  8. I did monks at the level where you stop burning them with gauntlets(I think 92) to 99. With these current prices you won't lose much for the raw and cooked monk prices are 10-30gp apart.
  9. Go for rune defender. It leaves much to be desired in terms of defense however it makes it up in attack bonuses and the strength bonus. You may also gain a few levels on your road to a defender if you use the animated armor method and the ogres in the guild have decent drops that can be sold to the shop one floor below.
  10. Both of their prices are ridiculous, considering the existence of Barrows and Fighter torsos, however I'd go with Bandos, for the offensive bonuses.
  11. SS is over rated. Get a D scim, Torso, Rune def, and preferably any non-dregradeable armor. If you're training at a place with rather high leveled monsters than you may choose DFS over Rune defender. I also recommend bringing super attack pots along with super strength or Drag battle axe.
  12. I just hit 98 strength yesterday and am torn whether continuing my grinding at spiders is the best option to get the last level. If I've done the math correctly and assuming spiders are still average 50k xp an hour then I would need to train at spiders for 20 hours. Using Tip.it's soul wars calculator I'd need to spend 15 hours at soul wars assuming I win every game. Again, my math may not be correct for I was never good at these type of situations. If someone would shed some light on this I'b be grateful.
  13. That's the entire point of the wilderness: Danger. It was supposed to a be land with no boundaries so the ability to attack other players was added. Now it's just a boring land with no real threats (Revenants are a joke). A lot of people also followed the mentality risk = reward, which the wilderness followed rather well.
