I do indeed have one more action. You stated that the deer does not like me, therefore the taming action failed, and the following action never happened. That's why I was replacing it. I was rather specific with what I wrote, to make sure that I didn't lose an action if the first part (taming) failed, because why would you try to ride an untamed deer?

I've decided on a new system: every twelve responses to actions I post will count as one day. Also, from now on, the Magical Prowess system will be replaced by a "Mana Level" which is increased daily based on a roll made for each individual character. This can also be raised by absorbing magical energy. I also am updating the state of affairs, tomorrow of course. It's just too late right now.

You go around collecting branches and twigs along the forest floor, which you fashion into 25 arrow shafts, and also find a sufficient number of pointed stones with which to make the arrowheads. You find the slightly bloodied leg of some poor animal, which you remove the sinews from with your knife, and then make them into a satisfactory bowstring. The finished product is better than anything you could've hoped for (the dice like you, evidently).

cool so i know the deers name! i look for a food source that wont freak out the deer. i also look for more arrow heads and shafts.

As you are searching, you are suddenly set upon by a large Brimtroll (rocklike skin, barely smart enough to be considered sentient, large fangs/claws, fairly thin and gangly) which clubs you over your head just as you finish your befriending spell. i look for more stuff as a food source, such as a river with fish, or more weapon making items.

I would, except that I'm exhausted. Not sure if this is night or not, but Jen attempts to wake up and befriend the creature regardless. (Basically making friends, so they have a reason to be friendly even if the spell wears off)
