Going to movies by one's self?

Featured Replies

I went to see Harry Potter 3 Last year and I had just came back from a trip oversees. Now coming back 2 weeks after the film was publicy shown most of the people I know who would have a slight interest in the movie have seen it, So here I am asking my mum for a lift and I get there and suddenly feel alone and lame. I walk into the movie find a great seat on a corner and the movie starts. *Popcorn hits Hypno on Head* Sad part is it was a mere 12 Year old with a bunch of friends who thought they were hardcore because they outnumbered me.

I got up and they were scared but I merely went and purchased some popcorn seeing as the folm wasn't that entertaining and found a seat behind them. Showed them, I don't know why a bunch of 12 year olds think they are tougher then one 14 year old.

I still don't think I will ever go Solo to another film

Never been to the cinema on my own, and i don't really think i ever would until i was a bit older and there was something i really wanted to see. Normally i can find someone to go with, since my film tastes are fairly broad.

I've often rented out films on my own though if my parents are going out though and i'm not doing anything.

Well, I went to see Walk the Line, alone. Take that! what other people think.

To be honest, I hardly even noticed. I sat a few mins by myself, so what? Then the movie started, and you can't talk during a movie anyway.

And aside from other late teenage-ish people who were with their parents, it was me and a bunch of people over 40. In fact when I got their a few mins early, there was just 1 couple in their, who were probably 80. Then right as the movie started about 20 people came in.

And get this: no popcorn thrown! I'll probably do it again sometime real soon.

Luckily, I was never desperate enough to do this :) But if there's a movie I really really want to see, I'll just wait for it to come out on DVD.
