Anythings i should now about to speed up training besides

- Mouse keys (cant be bothered to use these)

- Obsidian Golem (Using them now =P)

 

Currently Level 71 trying to push for 80, im Mining iron at the Pictoris (whatevaaa) fishing colony and dropping it on a high populated world.

Using dpick, it seems to be good xp so far, i will probs go to power mine granite when i can be bothered.

 

I have a pair of mining brawlers, where should i use them, and pvp or bh?

Do i do concentrated Coal 77-80 or do i keep powermining iron/granite till 80 and do Gold 80-99?

 

haha so many questions.. last 1 - whats the living rock caverns world?

Us emining brawlers in hobgoblin mine, switching off between mithril and adamant.

 

It would be better to use a kyatt and bank. You get profit and its more relaxing/less tedious.

yeah bank them, also if you do granite use mousekeys, they honestly that hard once you understand them.

84 is the world if I remember correctly.

its practically as fast

15 seconds top to bank.

Why the golem? You'll mine iron just as fast without one, and you can use a kyatt to bank instead. Much easier then having to drop.

Once you hit 77 do concentrated coal, and then concentrated gold at 80.

If you can stand barbarian assault then get a master penance horn. It gives x2 xp and lasts quite sometime if you fill it with several queen rounds. I used the horn and mined granite to get 77. It was about 80-90k xp hr without mouse keys. Concentrated coal is 35k xp per hour and I just haven't been able to train it that way yet.

In my opinion powermining is a waste of time and an insult to the Mining skill.

 

However, I am one of those crazy persons that got mining 98 entirely in F2p on coal, and I understand others may not enjoy Mining as much as I have, or have the patience.

 

 

That said, if you're going to want the fastest experience you're looking at the disgrace that is the Living Rock Caverns. It makes Mining semi-afk-able, which equals boring, but there you go.

If you do mine there, bringing an SGS (if you have it) would be useful to heal and restore prayer as well as defend yourself. Also wield Varrock armour 2 or 3 to get additional ores. Dragon pickaxe is excellent.
