Some people... (Dungeoneering)

Actually, if you leave before you finish a dungeon, you still get some experience.

Yep, proven. Maybe that's why I got the level after I jumped off the stairs...

A skill should be able to be trained in more locations that one. :(

And the xp you get for leaving early is incredibly low. I left right before a boss room and I got 400xp, while if I had finished the dungeon I would've gotten 2k+.

That's called a disincentive. Jagex wants you to see the dungeon to completion, so they add a penalty for leaving early.

I hate it now, but once they fix the system so soloers can get back into their dungeons if they crash (as java has done for me quite a bit, only in the dungeons), then I'll be fine with it.

I know, but at least make it reasonable. I mean, for just killing the boss I get 1.6k xp more?

Actually, even when you kill the boss, you would still get the same amount of exp if you leave (but NO TOKENS FFS).

Yeah, something has to be done about the solo dungeon problem. Perhaps make that dungeon "saved" onto your character until you either finish it or completely quit it?

Who cares about exp after 69. All I care about then is tokens, getting exp and no tokens is pointless.

Ah, you know. The ones who aim for the cape.

This is my rant on why other people are complaining about the new skill.

"It's a group skill, and that ruins it!" - Runescape is an MMO; It's SUPPOSED to have group implemented activities in it. Not to mention you can train it by yourself if you like. (Sure low levels will hinder you but that's noone's choice but your own)

"This isn't a skill, it's a minigame!" - First off, we don't have minigames in Runescape. Secondly, you could say the same about Slayer but noone does. Just because it has a unique training style doesn't make it an activity.

"The rewards aren't good enough" - If you were expecting an "End All" weapon or another such unlockable which made everything easier, you should know that Jagex likes to keep everything as balanced as possible.

"The rewards and experience take to long to get!" - Anything worth having should be worth the effort earning it. You can't expect to have them handed to you on a silver platter.

Mingames exist...........

What about barbarian asault, vinesweeper, pest control?

I find training dungeoneering fun. Who cares about the rewards?

I just want my darned Bonecrusher.

What's so great about a bonecrusher anyway?

Ummmmmm.....................

Not much to say.

If you want to find me in Runescape, my name is not applyapple. It is vetoscadiva.

Complain as you like about Jagex, but think about what they've done. How many MMORPG designers go around to creating as complex an in-game world as Jagex? They do need to get around to making a equipable knife, though.

With everyone's complaining about updates, it's amzing that there isn't a forum topic on the fact that the chat box says "You can't reach that" (as opposed to "I can't reach that!").

They`re activities, not minigames.
