I haven't played it so far and I was wondering how much collateral XP in other skills can you get when training Dongeoneering?

I know it depends on what complexity you choose from, but how much can you expect at high levels (base skills, not dongeoneering...)

Combat xp mostly. Some marginal amounts of wc and mining (actually pretty good but the resources exchaust very fast, only go for it if you already ahve a tool). If you pick up all the essence and use your money to buy essence at the smuggler you can get a good bit of rcing xp as well. Do a couple of dungeons and you'll find out for yourself :smile:

using prayer/runecrafting/magic/woodcutting/firemaking/strength to open doors gives sizeable xp

~400 ish, depending on the level

 

other xp isnt worth noting. You'll get other xp (smithing xp for example) much faster outside

 

if you have spare money after you empty the rooms, you can buy up a bunch of rune essence for runecrafting xp

50 gp = 1 runecrafting xp though, so I don't even consider it worth it.

Not too good other exp, though like it was mentioned the rc is nice.

 

Tried it on a low level account and got rc from 5 to 10 before getting level 3 dungeoning.

Thanx guys, I wasn't planning on training other skills there, but rather judge if the marginal XP was sizeable. Any XP would be welcome and it seems I'll get what I seek there.
