Hi fellow tip.it-ers! Because bronze and mithril have now been replaced by Novite and Marmaros (in dungeoneering that is), I made a table to make it easier for you to see what material is better than another.

Bathus - iron

Marmos - steel

kraton - blk/white

fractite - mith

zeph - addy

argon - rune

kata - dragon

gorgon - barrows

promethi - Bandos (?)

Primal - wtf?

Well, the max F2P can use is Tier 5, and it has a req of 40 attack/defence.

 

So, in a sense, Fractite should equal rune.

Lifesaver :P I couldn't honestly be bothered to right click > examine them for the tiers anymore.

I don't think these armours are comparable to non dungeoneering armours. The armour requiring 40 defence does not have similar stats to rune as far as I can tell and I highly doubt they follow the same order that Paw Claw has suggested. Doesn't Bandos have lwoer defence than Barrows?

Yes but it has higher requirements and is generally deemed "better"

 

Equally I wasn't suggesting the stats were hugely similar, but roughly mine should fit as an idea of the tiers
