Fallen Star

[Nexaduro]

Charles isn't awake, and doesn't look like he will be soon. Earth thinks back to where he got the glove, and starts off towards the door on the other side of the hallway. He tries to remove a shard from his hand that looks like it may have comprised a fourth of the glove blade, but that triggers a rush of pain that incapacitates him, and he falls to the floor, moaning. The rest of Tyden's troop wake up, and Jen has them tie up all of the incapacitated colonists. Zathe slips away as the others are preoccupied, making his way towards the ship's A.I. Only Paul notices an indistinct flicker in the corner of his eye, which he mostly disregards.

Paul starts rushing off towards the sneaky droid.

[Earth]

DOH!

EDIT: didnt realize i was tied up. i try to recover from the apin, undo the ropes, and THEN i look around for anything suspicious while i go and grab another power glove

[Retech]

Jen whacks Charles over the head again with the butt of her rifle, to make sure he's nicely knocked out.

[Seraphi]

Zathe continues walking down the corridor with singleminded determination.

[Nexaduro]

As Zathe continues down the hallway, he spots a doorway. Paul, acting on instinct, excuses himself and goes to look for the source of the movement down the hall. He notices Zathe, and manages to follow him without being noticed. As Jen swings the rifle at Charles, his eyes snap open and he rolls away. He slips out of the ropes and grabs his rifle, racing off down the hallway before Jen and Tyden can react. Earth awakes as well, but is unable to escape his bindings. He begins rolling to the doorway on the other side of the hall.

[Earth]

i roll to the door, trying to escape my bonds and doing the above mentioned things.

[Grim_]

Charles runs down the hallway while taking off his clothes and screaming about gods and goddesses.

Tyden readies his gun, keeping his eyes on the colonists, but seems reluctant to shoot the seemingly innocent humans.

Zathe enters the door and examines it's surroundings.

Paul continues down the corridor.

[Nexaduro]

Earthsage manages to roll through the door and away from Jen and Tyden without being noticed, but makes little progress escaping his bonds. Charles runs down the hallway screaming, at which point Jen and Tyden rush after him, Jen opening fire and grazing Charles' left arm. As he runs past Paul, Paul jumps to the side and tackles him, before being punched in the face, allowing Charles to escape. As Zathe opens and proceeds through the doorway, he looks back and realizes he is being followed. Zathe ignores this for the time being, and notes that the room he currently occupies is triangle-shaped with a rather large glass pane comprising the wall directly ahead. There is a door marked "A.I. Containment Room" off to the left.

[Seraphi]

Zathe goes into the AI containment room.

[Retech]

Jen chases after Charles and tries to stick him with bullets.

[Grim_]

Charles flashes Jen while shooting at her with his AK-47 and then running off while weaving.

[Nexaduro]

Charles opens fire on Jen, Paul, and Tyden. Both Tyden and Paul miss as Charles dodges back and forth down the hallway. Jen, however, shoots at the exact same moment as Charles, and their respective bullets tear into each other's shoulders. Jen winces, but manages with the help of Paul and Tyden to overtake the writhing Charles. Charles gets up once more and starts limping away, firing his gun at the troop. Paul is hit in the collar and collapses, while Tyden takes a shot to the arm and Jen barely avoids another shot to her shoulder. Tyden falls to the floor next to Paul, and Charles drops his gun. Jen finally catches up with the crawling and gasping Charles, and puts her gun to his head, holding it with her remaining arm. Zathe walks into the A.I. room, which is circular and contains a large metal pillar in the center, which has a large screen and speakers winding around it.

[Retech]

"Never shoot your superior! Do you understand me?!"

 

Then she tells one of the soldiers to get up and tie him up.

[Seraphi]

Zathe tries to find some kind of connection, to avoid directly talking to the AI, where it can be overheard.

 

It then tries to find out where the ship is going, why it has malfuctioned and some of the humans have been awoken, and how long the people have been here.

[Earth]

i try to get out of my bonds (is there any way to heal my hand in a respectable time frame?) i then look for a new power glove, and if i find one (this is assuming i make it out of my bonds) i go after Zathe

I awaken and explore the ship looking for its engines.

Tyden tries to get up, holding his arm to slow bleeding, and go over to tie up Charles, then focuses on fixing up his wound.

[Earth]

(uhm, could someoneplease.. free me? ive stoped being insane, i know not to punch walls, and right now i jsut want to heal my hand)

[Nexaduro]

Jen orders her troop to assist her, but cannot seem to wake them up. Earth manages to escape his bonds, and sees a glass case at the end of the hall. He breaks the glass and puts on the glove contained inside. It seems to cool some of the burns, and when he takes it back off to inspect his hand several pieces of metal fall out of the glove. He is still missing two fingers, though. He starts towards the end of the hallway, trying to find the source of the gunshots he heard earlier. A.I. 42 powers up once more, and begins rolling down the hallway towards the curious (not curious about him, they seem curious to him) humans. Tyden twitches and wakes up to Jen yelling for him to help her tie up Charles. He rips off part of the bottom of his uniform and binds the wound on his arm, before lying back down, ignoring Jen.

[Earth]

i see if the golve is a battle glove, or if it is somthing else. if i can use it to heal stuff, i put it on my damaged hand and go help heal those injured.
