Google Earth

Featured Replies

Has anyone used Google Earth before? Go and use it for yourself, it's awesome. You can zoom in to anywhere you want on the earth, cities towns, houses... I saw my own town, the MCG and I zoomed in on an actual plane on a runway somewhere near the Grand Canyon. Is it just me or does anyone else find this amazing?

...

I know it's awesome isn't it. Have found my house and friends houses and everything its pretty mad. The measuring tool where you can find out how far one place is to another is pretty sweet. Have measured how far I go running for around the Parks and stuff.

What's also fun is going to places where you aren't allowed in real life, like China's Forbidden City and going into North Korea and seeing there huge neculear reactors.

ok one thing you got right was North Korea dose have nuklear capibilaty however i dont think that they use them for power at the moment the places you most likly saw were factorys nuklear reactors are not big and from space to an untrained eye they will look like factorys. the forbidden city is not forbidden when you look at it you see lots of little black dotes those ants are infact people and most of them are tourests.
