Summoning method/bursting lobs

Ok, so I'm looking at 96 summoning as a goal in about 3 months. I know you can bring 5kg blocks and chisel them up, swap for shards. Can someone outline exactly how you do this? How many shards/pouch do you get back?

Just run them using a kyatt. So much easier and with less hassle.

I'm too lazy...:P I'd prefer to do it this way, but if the kyatt is the only way to go...

 

Could someone link me to the number of shards bogrog gives back per pouch? I'm trying to calc the cost for pouches. Just worked out I need 154k bursts at 175 charms per 1k bursts.

Kyatt will be faster.

 

But what you would do is take a beast of burden full of 5kg blocks, crimson charms, shards, empty pouches, a chisel, and 24 500g blocks to the Ogre obelisk. Then you'd make 24 pouches, swap for shards, take out some blocks and break them. Repeat.

You're lazy but you'd rather cut granite blocks into 200g blocks? Yeah.. pretty sure kyatt running is faster than that method.

 

Anyways, you get 70% back of the shards if you swap them at Bolrog, so in this case.. (166*0.7 = 116.2) 116 shards. This goes for all pouches as well.

Excellent, I'll use the kyatt then. I still might do granite lobs to 96 if they're the cheapest.

 

Recycled thread is now a thread on cheapest way to 96 from my level excluding talon beasts. I'm bursting lobs (need the Mage exp), so that's why I'm skimping on this bit.

Do granite lobsters til 85. Then do swamp titans til 95. Then do iron titans til 96. Then do pack yaks til 99.

Depending on the GE prices, yes/no. Sometimes you can GE them for more than you could swap them for.

uhhh, if you are only getting 170 charms/1k bursts your doing something horribly wrong. 1k bursts equals roughly 270 crimson, 130 gold, 65 green from 9 lobsters.

Looking at your magic level, you'd get something like 130 charms/h. And you might get crashed due to low combat/using bursts.

 

Cost.. when I barraged it was roughly 1k barrages = 420 crimsons. Gathering charms with barrages is like 200/h. Do the math from there.

If you are serious about bursting/barraging I highly recommend you get a set of Battle Robes from FOG, along with a SOL, both will save you alot of money on runes.

 

If you don't want to spend a lot of money on the robes, just spend a few days at FOG to get them. Again, they are really helpful.

There are simply not enough worlds for people to hop in. What would you choose; Hop for another 20 minutes... or crash someone weaker than you?

Join the clan channel "burstinglobs", this way no one in the cc will crash you, they also let you know of open worlds, and help you get in the dungeon itself. You shouldn't be crashed that often..

Join the clan channel "burstinglobs", this way no one in the cc will crash you, they also let you know of open worlds, and help you get in the dungeon itself. You shouldn't be crashed that often..

You'd be surprised. I've bursted before, and got crashed the instant someone hopped in ~20 minutes in my trip. Well, if you really don't believe me. Go ahead and burst some, then tell me the results.

Dzi, to be perfectly honest, I don't crash. People higher then me, lower then me, I always ask them what they're up to on a slayer task and hop if they're on the same as me.

 

Personally, I would hop for another 20 mins.

And that is why I suggest you be in that cc, as usually those people are in it, and the odd time you do get crashed is by random, its really not that hard to find an open world now adays, you'd be surprised.

 

Edit- Lord, you should really consider it because with 1k casts with SOL and Battle Robes, you can easy get 400+ crimsons in one trip, and a trip shouldn't be longer then a few hours, depending on how many casts you have.

Wfs isn't efficient for you, with your stats. But 130/h was just a reasonable guess. I haven't bursted that much to give a clear figure. You should try it for an hour, then consider.

All that i've read makes me not want to do it anymore, tbh...unless it's the most efficiant way.

Do slayer

 

It's not necessarily good charms, but it's a lot more entertaining to do, you make a lot of money doing, you train your combat skills, you get more xp since you're also getting Xp in slayer. And you'd be surprised how fast charms add up if you just casually slay everyday.
