Hello, My name is Stephanie and I have been playing Runescape on and off for about a year and a half. I am 21 and I am interested in getting to know people around my age group 20-30 year olds who are interested in joining together to do dungeoneering and I would just like to talk to people around my age for help and for the quests that require 2 or more people. Texas_Angel does not feature in the hiscores. You have to be in the top 2 million in a category and reach a skill level of 30 or the activity's minimum score.

I was simply giving her some advice, once you turn 21 you don't join some secret club where you get to shun anyone younger than you. Acting like that won't get you anywhere. A great deal of my runescape friends are teenagers and that's ok with me because they're mature and I enjoy spending time with them. As you may well know during your teen years you don't enjoy being treated like a child, so having someone tell you that "they don't want to have to play mommy" with you can probably be a bit frustrating.

Well, whatever the case, welcome to tip.it. I'm not sure but you might want to try posting this thread here to get a few more people to join you. Posting this kind of thing here will just result in a mod moving it.

I do not mind if they are mature, but most of the teenagers I have bumped into on here are not that mature. I do have a 16 year old on my friends list and he seem pretty smart and mature for his age. Im not in the top 2 million because I have not played in a long time. I just came back about a month ago. I have my on and off phases with this game, which is why my levels are not that great. I just have fun playing the game like everyone else. I just get annoyed with the boys on here who telll me I am hot because of my character and they ask me to be their girlfriend..lol. I know some of the teenagers flirt with eatchother and I guess do this "online dating" thing. I am only here to play the game and have some fun and maybe talk to some interesting, open-minded people.

Being a studly male myself I seem to have the same problem with the opposite sex. :cool: I think you'll find that on members worlds you hardly run into players like that. But since anyone can just stroll into a f2p world you're going to find morons out the wazoo who think the perfect way to pick up a girl online is to tell them they have a hot pixel body. If you want to find some more mature friends to play with, you might want to try some of the clan chats hosted by tip.it members, like Lady Heinous, or Codguy.

Slightly more OT: You're not too keen on e-guys objectifying your e-character but your clan is listed as "The Hot Clan"? Maybe that's where you're going wrong.

 

Even Slightly more OT: I'm in my 20's and I'm going to give you a little advice from my experience of the game. You get idiots of every age. By pretty much saying "Anyone can add me so long as they are 20 and up" you're ruling out so many wonderful clever people that know so much more about this game than you do. Never limit your future interactions like that.

 

And remember if someone is really annoying you, either ignore or report.

I have found that trying to train dungeoneering with others can be so frustrating unless you are all online all of the time, because of the whole prestige issue. Unless you literally only play when you are all on together, the xp gained is going to be at a fairly inefficient rate.

Forum lag... FML. I already reported those posts, hopefully they can be deleted.

 

Also, this is pretty much the reason why I solo. The exp still isn't that bad (though much lower than medium/large dungeons), but at least I can train full time.
