Did you download the client?

Featured Replies

Did you download the Runescape client? How about use it? What do you think about it?

I haven't downloaded it yet, I just found out today that you could.

I downloaded it, and I believe it's pretty good. What I like about it is that it makes the screen bigger, because there aren't any toolbars at the top. When playing in the resizable mode, more of the screen is shown.

Also, i guess it makes loading rs faster, cuz you don't have to type the url, but that doesn't really make much of a difference.

Yeah, I never go to the main page to play anymore.

Used to use swtichswift? or whatever it was back in the day.

I tried it and was good. But I like to play RS and surf the net using same app at the same time, so, I stick with browser (Google Chrome or Firefox with Tip.It Microhelper Low - Detail add-ons).

I've used the RS client for like 3 years. I usually just put an IRC window at the bottom, because it's bigger than swiftswitch. I usually have itunes underneath, and firefox open.

Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

I like the client. It's simple and effective. Never really been a fan of SK, and playing in a browser gives me lag.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

I have it. Less clutter, resizeable opens really wide, all that good stuff.

It's an Internet Explorer based web browser. IE doesn't support the resizable mode, so I wonder why Jagex still has it.

There are better alternatives such as Mozilla Prism, which can be used to make a toolbarless site specific browser of any website.

When I got my new computer, it was the first thing I downloaded, when I got my laptop for school it was the first thing I downloaded. I love it. Easier than opening firefox and going to the website all the time.
