I like the second one. Remids me of a terminator entering a new universe and images of 'his' universe are transcending to ours while he's on his way.

I like the first one more, second is pretty cool but the aspect ratio kind of ruins it. Crop it wider.

I'm not a fan of the first one, I think your effects and colours are really average. I think the second one however, it looks much much better. I like the concept and idea, it just looks so cool.

Average to you, maybe. Someone who hasn't done a medium of art, or is just starting, can't really notice the finer details that a more experienced person can. I say different mediums because, even though I do photo-manipulations sometimes, I can't significantly judge say, Cinema 4D work, or traditional watercolors. All of my pieces in this year are "large" (say 1200px+). I personally think it looks fine, and that it was not at all easy or simple to make, nor could just anyone make it. So maybe you're more interested in a different format of art.

To be honest the larger the first one gets the less I like it. It looks fine "signature size" though.

 

I don't really like the second one. Aspect ratio kills it and it does feel like the abstract bit is out of place.
