Master Penance Horn

Well, I've been chatting with a person using one for Agility and he says it's good that you take a day or 2 away from Agility to do something else, and recharge your horn. Now I was thinking, he used his horn for the whole Gnome Advanced course and I wondered how the horn worked.

 

Does it lose charge when you do an obstacle or what, if so, wouldn't it be smartest to just wear the horn for the last obstacle giving 90% of the lap's xp?

 

And what are your views on the use of a horn, he said it took him 1.5 days to recharge it with a good team.

I have no Knowledge about how it works.

 

I do know that it took me about 10 times of the queens death to fully charge it

The horn gives you 2x the experience even if it isn't wielded and in your inventory. So you cannot use it for the last obstacle and then take it off.

Does it even matter if it's the last one? It's 2x anyway.

The idea is to only use it on the last obstacle because that way you'd only use up your charge on the big amount of exp you get from the final lap. That would make the horn last longer. But it doesn't work that way, unfortunately :(

Oh, does the horn work like brawlers? I thought it was like SC tools.

I haven't used mine extensively, but I just wanted to add that you can easily fill it in a few hours if you have a good team. Unfortunately, it's kind of hard to get a good team unless you have full penance or you're very high level, and the former is much more effective for finding teams.
