Lemeja
I need a quick mage level, about 70k xp and was wondering what I should alch for the least loss, or perhaps small profit. Any help appreciated.
jjjon123
Just superheat, its faster than alching and you get free smith xp 1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 ! Aruschpler12
Just superheat, its faster than alching and you get free smith xp And you profit on everything steel and above (except gold of course) Thats how i got my smithing so high, even in f2p. Superheat is really underrated It's called the "Grand Exchange," and not the "Grand Alwaysatyourservicetodoyourbidding, regardlessoftheneedsofothers," for a reason.107,992 to 99 cooking96,545 to 99 fletching24,699 to 99 smithingI would indeed be happy if someone stopped spreading cancer all over this place. Even though it tends to be funny to read, but not as much when someone who demands people to make way for him comes along and decides to call others arrogant. Superheat is really underrated I don't really think it's underrated so much as people would rather use mouse keys and stay in the same spot so they only have to hit the '5' key and that's it, whereas most superheats, you'll have to move the mouse, and they don't feel like messing with any settings to make it possible (such as re-arranging the spell menu, which I did once (choosing different options to show and hide) to try and get it lined up right). But yes, I'd recommend Superheat over Alching. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Lemeja
So superheating anything above steel works fine? What about mith bars?
Fekambard
So superheating anything above steel works fine? What about mith bars?Steel & Mithril bars will both work fine; mind you Steel will be a little faster xp but might be a bit more loss. Won't be much loss (<50K) because you only need 70k Magic xp. evilboy1034
I do air battlestaves when I alch, make a small profit. The profit includes buying the nature runes, even after buying both runes and staves I profit

Current prices Nat(263) + Mith ore (436) + 4 coal (1052) =1751 Mith bars sell for 1804, for a 53 gp profit. You don't lose ANY money, you get more money and xp per cast with mith than steel, however.
