Lep
Does it lower the opponents defense level by 5% EACH cast or only does it once no matter how many times you cast it?
nightshade53
I can't tell you for sure, but I can't see it being each cast. Much more likely a total of 5%

Zephy
I'm pretty sure it lowers on each successful hit. I'll test it later. Side note: Hi. What are you doing that requires def lowering anyway? Disclaimer: The above is probably inaccurate.
shawn3090
I'm pretty sure its like all the other normal stat reducing spells. It only works if your opponent is at or above their base level, otherwise the spell just does damage, like ice spells not re-freezing if the opponent is already frozen. Trying to decide best way to lower defense at castle wars for when I get the Chaotic Maul. I know BGS is the best choice... but I'm not only going to be killing 1 person which is what the spec is for. After trying Bone Dagger at POHs my max in like 4 super sets was only a 20 which is good, but the other hits were extremely low.
