I am currently doing Ratcatchers and am finding myself stuck with a kitten. How do I get that frickin thing to grow? I've fed it like 100 raw herrings and still nothing is happening. It's [bleep]ing impossible to do anything with a "cat" that catches 1 time every 150289236.

The biggest factor in growth is time. Keep it fed and over time it will eventually become a cat. I can't recall how long it takes to get from Kitten>Cat though.

 

Check your familiar interface for how much is left until the next growth cycle and how hungry it is.

Doesnt matter how many times u feed it its time

 

Just keep it out and go explore or do something and it will eventually grow

 

Feed it when its 75% hungry or it will run away

Takes about 3 hours to grow kitten>cat. I go fish with a kitten out, that way I have food ready when it's hungry. I feed mine at 70% hunger and stroke it every so often so it doesn't run away.

Is it possible to get the familiar interface without doing the wolf whistle quest? I had the interface when I owned a cat last year, but now I don't have one.
