've seen several people saying "Hack" or "Hacking" and I just want to point out that there's a BIG difference between Hacking and modding.

 

Modding/Mod - Modding is a slang expression that is derived from the verb "modify". Modding refers to the act of modifying a piece of hardware or software or anything else for that matter, to perform a function not originally conceived or intended by the designer. The term modding is often used within the computer game community, particularly in regard to creating new or altered content and sharing that via the web.

 

Hacking/Hack - In common usage, a hacker is a person who breaks into computers, usually by gaining access to administrative controls. The subculture that has evolved around hackers is often referred to as the computer underground. Proponents claim to be motivated by artistic and political ends, and are often unconcerned about the use of illegal means to achieve them.

 

As you can see, There's a big difference. Hacking is illegal.

"Click you download our toolbar!"? That sentence makes no sence. Since I also modify my Systems for Hardware enhancements I could help (Though I mostly do the Wii) Also, what is the full size "pixel x pixel" ratio you want the wallpaper at, and any certain text font?

I meant "Click to download our toolbar."

 

No certain text font, and 450 x 200 would be good. It doesn't have to be that background. Anything abstract/cool would be good too. Or have to do with modding xbox360/jtag'ing

Yeah, I'm a hacker.

 

As in I admin networks, and when an issue comes up client side, I try to resolve it, then hack the program so that the issue won't come up again. Then I post the hack on forums to share the wealth.

 

There's nothing illegal about it, everyone benefits.

 

Anyone do html? CSS? Well if you're targeting users who use IE, and some major corporations still run IE 6 on their machines, then I'm sure you used some IE CSS hack or another that someone shared with the world.

The term hacking is most often used in a negative connotation. it can mean both good or bad. But let's not get off track :P
