get acp, zammy chaps, v helm, jester/snakeskin boots, barrows gloves rcbow, blessed spirit shield, glory, accumulator. 95 range should only cost you ~30m. If you dont have enough for ACP after 95 range, get a Ktop+arma pendent and get it after a few splits. Oh and Diamond bolts E, broads for minions and KC.

Some Arma advice:

 

Helm: Verac > Neiti

Amulet: Fury > Glory

Body: ACP

Legs: V Skirt

Wep: Rune Xbow

Shield: Blessed Spirit

Boots: Ranger > Snakeskin (though I personally wouldn't even bother with Ranger)

Ring: Archer

Gloves: Barrows / Zamorak D'hide

Cape: Accumulator > God Cape (for protection only)

You take more from kree and less from the melee minion. KC on avians is also easier. It was my old setup.

These days, with summoning so prevalent, it's probably outdated.

Melee slayer isn't slow. In fact its the fastest since you can use super/extreme potions and piety/turmoil. You can also melee while cannoning and can use a combat fsmailiar. If you don't want to use piety, thats your fault. Same with if you're going to cannon.

 

Also, you'll still get HP exp. You will still get it up. Once you get it to 99, and you continue to fight stuff you'll get more then 13m exp in the skill.

Once you get higher leveled you do. I know i was able to as well are many others. But with a moderate slayer level it might be hard to say.

I'll stick with normal sup pots, no piety/cannon then ;)

IMO, people who don't sup/ext pot and piety there tasks are idiots, the small cost is EASILY overcome by drops and the xp boost saves you tons of time and it also give mroe enjoyment on tasks due to "higher hits" If your so picky about your money don't bother posting on H&A for absurd goals such as overloads and turmoil if you won't even spare some cash to piety tasks.

I'd probably use 10 p pots on an average task if i was to piety the whole thing with sw cape, guthan's top and v skirt. That's like 100k. I don't make that much in an average task.

Use proselyte top instead, the def bonus from piety should make up for it.

 

In addition, what sort of tasks do you NOT make 100k at in an average task? Abyssal Demons are like an average of 1.7M a task. Blue Dragons are like 1.5M. Spirit Mages are like 700k.

 

I can understand not using a cannon on certain tasks that CAN be cannoned, but definitely use a cannon on Aberrant Spectres, Bloodvelds, Dagannoth, and a few other tasks.

From kura, my task list has been so far: Steels/irons, LRC, Bloodveld, Warped torts.

 

From Sumona, my task list was: Kalphites, Bloodvelds, Abberents, Banshees, Red dragons, Kalphites, Kalphites, Kalphites, Basilisks, Kurask, Turoth, Kalphites, Warped Torts.

 

Anything not called red dragons, Warped Torts, and abberents, makes under 100k.

 

Edit: Slayer helm, Fury, Sw cape, Prosyl Top, V skirt, D boots, Lumby ring 3, B gloves, Whip/defender? Piety and pot EVERY task, including profitable ones?

Steels and irons make over 100k, dunno what LRC is though. Nechs, wyverns, blue drags, abby demons, gargs, dust devils, they all make over 100k. (just listing a few out of the top of my head).

 

Trust us and use piety. You'll see you make money in the long run.

1. use broad bolts with slayer. its pretty fast and profitable with the new helmet updates

4. what attack style are you using? i'll guess melee or range:

melee: full helm, chainbody, plateskirt, shield range vamps and boots

range: full helm, range body, platelegs, range vamps and boots

 

5. invest in either a: an item that just stopped crashing, b: an item that will be used in future updates

Btw lol at 10 p pots per task, i never use that many when i used to use piety, only ever used that many on 180+ black demon tasks when i used to pray melle + piety. On average wearing a soul wars cape, verac's skirt and prossy body providing a massive prayer bonus, i only use 6 p pots a task usually.

I'm using Kura, and have been ever since i've hit 75 slayer. The extra points are just too good to pass up, oh, and KURAS DUNGEON.

 

I've never had any of the ones you've listed for tasks, except Steels and Irons.

 

LRC is Living rock creatures. I don't have 77 mining so i'm limited to their drops.

 

Piety it is. I suppose I better go all out and cannon then, too :D

Btw, even with my bank of over half a bill, i don't cannon often, this is because a cannon simply increases your slay xp/h which i'm not to bothered about, i'd rather have a longer task gaining more melle xp, so if you are really that economically conscious, don't cannon but piety. However definately cannon abby spectre tasks as the drops easily pays for c ball costs and the tasks goes tremendously quickly, infact abby spectres are pretty much the only task i cannon.
