Youmu
Just going to post the biggest most recent example:Constitution (self explanitory really, but assuming people have my common sense will land me getting flamed tbh.) Useless update that still pisses me off to this day. 10 year olds love big numbers. Do we need more 10 year olds playing runescape? No. Jagex stated that they would put some new stuff in with new hp, hasent happened yet. If you are going to change something, at least make it better, not worse. If anything the constitution update made it BETTER to train. More accurate numbers = more accurate exp. Also, big numbers FTW! BlogTrimmed | Master Quester | Final BossBoss pets: Bombi | Shrimpy | Ellie | Tz-Rek Jad | Karil the Bobbled | Mega Ducklings120s: Dungeoneering | Invention
TehNamesBen
Indeed, updates like that are never made without reason, *points at the big picture*. I lol'd irl. For the last time, 'lols' mean nothing. You cant just laugh at someone in the middle of a debate insisting that they are wrong and expect to win the argument. All it does it make you look like a self-righteous [wagon]. Exhibiting the need to attack others to prove a point is a blatant sign of weakness. Obviously I assume too much when I assume that others have good common sense on this thread. I am loling sarcastically because this post is so sarcaStic (or the poster is just stupid) because useless/pointless updates are released all the time by jamflex. Btw, i'm a big fan of common sense :). But the 'Constitution' update certainly didn't make anything worse and was HP in a bad state already? For some of the oldies alike me, it was a bit odd at first and apparently or so i'm told Runescape is heading towards, in similarity, to World of Warcraft - which is a bad thing, or so i'm told. Ummmmmm.....................Not much to say. If you want to find me in Runescape, my name is not applyapple. It is vetoscadiva. Complain as you like about Jagex, but think about what they've done. How many MMORPG designers go around to creating as complex an in-game world as Jagex? They do need to get around to making a equipable knife, though. With everyone's complaining about updates, it's amzing that there isn't a forum topic on the fact that the chat box says "You can't reach that" (as opposed to "I can't reach that!"). Let people get used to it before you throw in some updates that take advantage of it. There is very little reason to dislike it. As for training range, I only do it in Dungeoneering, really. Let people get used to it before you throw in some updates that take advantage of it. Umm.... What? Take advantage of the FULL VERSION of what should have been the Constitution update...? Not getting your meaning. There is very little reason to dislike it. The extra xp is minimal and you get to take extra damage so those balance out. The real reason I hate this is because we don't need more 10 year old kids playing runescape because now the "Numbers look bigger" and that is cool to little kids. Also, personally I think it looks stupid. As for training range, I only do it in Dungeoneering, really. How do you "train" anything in Dung lol >.> Fail xp. Hypocrite. Whether it is items that lower your max LP for a time, or whatever else they may or may not be planning. As for the "10 year old kids" factor, it really won't bring that many more in for very long. They'll still get bored and leave, even though the numbers are bigger. And training range in Daemonheim is only because I have arrows bound and never have to buy new ones. I don't play for maximum experience rates, I play to get my mind off of other things and chat with some friends.

It just opens up new ideas for ways to play around with future weapons/armor/potions/etc. Dungeoneering being only half released didn't make sense to me, either, though. But you're right that only time will tell regarding the 10 year olds. My prediction, however, is that they will still lose interest after they get killed a few times. I also agree that, in its current state, Dungeoneering IS more of a mini-game than a skill. We'll see if they correct that with batch 2. I'm also only playing it for certain rewards, but I'm not even to level 20 in it.

un4given
Google "selling bronze arrows" and look at the first result. That is the reason bronze arrows are so expensive.Um, no. Bronze arrows are in short supply, not expensive. There's a 1k cap in the shop and takes forever to respawn or buy off gp. It's not even worth making yourself and tbh it was better if jagex just left the unlimited shop alone unless someone here can counter this statement, which noone has yet. I ended up ponying up the money for mems. I found steel darts the best option to train with in comparison to prices/speed of arrows and knives. Ava's saves me gp and time that f2p would have otherwise left me without. Strong straying from original topic ITT.. Disregard females. Acquire currency.
