Obtaining Runescape Membership

Featured Replies

Well, I have no idea where this topic should go. It involves a bit of Runescape, but not entirely. I looking for ways to get Runescape Memberships, without taking the last resort (asking my ex-girlfriend and actually paying her the amount for a 1 month membership)

So, any ideas on how to get Runescape Membership? (PayByPhone, Pay by Credit Card and Paypal, I will not actually do, because If I actually did one of the first two, I would be kicked out of the house for "wasting money" under my parents house. Paypal, I have no idea how that work. Tried that once, but they told me I had to connect the Paypal Account to a credit card)

"Gaming Lagoon or Prize Rebel" sites, I'm not that interested because I am not in the suitable country, or there aren't enough offers for me to complete.

Thanks for your time, I appreciate it.

Ps: If this thread is in the wrong forum (which I think), you Mods may move it. Thanks again.

Perhaps go to a convenience store and buy a membership card with cash? I'm not sure if it's available in NZ though.

Believe me, if they actually sold membership cards here, I would not ask here. But since they don't, I'm asking here.

Maybe you should try PayPal again.

I tied it to my bank account so that when I pay with it, it gets removed from my bank account straight away.

No credit card involved.

While your convenience stores may not sell RS membership cards, they likely sell prepaid cash cards, which will function just like a debit card for all intents and purposes regarding purchasing RS membership. Buy one and link it to your PayPal, and you should be good to go, flying right under the radar

What Lizard mentioned is probably the best way to go about that. I know that they sell cards of that sort at Wal-Mart; just bring the card to the register and you can pay cash to charge it up. Then just go to runescape.com and you can probably just use it as if it were a credit card without even having to get paypal involved.

This, i dont even think you can connect a pre-paid card to paypal, but it will work like a normal credit card, so runescape will accept it.

rs will accept it AND you can tie it to a paypal account, but its more expensive to use through paypal, so just use it like a real CC

Please, if you buy a pre-paid/debit card from the store, do not connect it to paypal. That would be redundant and a waste of money because paypal holds a small fee and you won't be able to activate it.

Your best option is a debit card, you can just buy one and use it like a credit card.

It looks as if you just don't want your parents to know.

Paypal is just a middle-man, in no way is it helpful to you unless you have a peer-to-peer internet based transactions. Seeing as how Runescape won't exactly steal your money, its really pointless. If you really want one, I suggest first making a personal account and verifying it with NetSpend (Please research these sites if you're unsure, they have good credentials) or getting a paypal card sent to your home.

I heard that doesn't work anymore
