Normally while fishing i have some sort of familar out. But i keep noticing that randomly they are just... gone? I am 100% sure i didn't let their timer run out. For example i will summon a magpie, and after 9 minutes it's just gone. Never a warning in the chat box, it didn't even come close to the time it should have ran out. Is this a bug, or has anyone else experienced this?

All familiars do that they are still there but either they cant fit where you are standing or there's someone or another familiar on top of them. No worries though like I said they are still there. :smile:

I think what the OP was saying is that the familiar literally isn't there. It disappeared like it was dismissed, except it wasn't.

 

I've seen that a few times. Usually logging works.

I've had this happen twice. Once with a magpie while smelting in Edgeville, and once with my Tortoise at Dark Beasts. No idea what causes it, but I was able to summon a new familiar with a pouch, and they still had all of my items on them luckily.

Well I know you cant see them whenever you are in a space that they can't fit but you usually get a message when that happens, hmm not sure never seen this before. :-o

Logging doesn't work, and what i mean is it really isn't there. If i click on my familar tab it says there isn't anything. But if i try to do dungeoneering or duel arena it says i have a summoning familar out. By the way i am fishing in the guild.

There's still a few glitches with familiars disappearing. Usually it from a log out or more commonly for me, if I was teleported to a random event with a familiar. Sometimes I can't even call my familiar; it says that I have one out on my Summoning screen, but then I get a message saying I don't have a familiar out at the time. I usually log out to fix this. So you're not the only one.

I have had this exact same problem with my ibis familiar in piscatoris fishing colony, every 6-7 pouches that I summon, after about 15 minutes, the ibis simply dissappears without saying a thing in my chat box about the timer runnin out. I have asked some other players about this and none of them have had this happen to them. I reported it as a bug a week ago, but no changes or messages since. Hope jagex straightens this out soon.
