Well, ever since I've been 72 slayer and around 75 in my combat stats, I've had Wyverns perm blocked as a slayer task.

 

I was wondering if that since now I have much better stats and gear if I should consider unblocking them. What setup would be good for my levels when killing them?

 

Just note I am NOT looking for the best XP tasks, I'm mostly interested in the profit end of it then the XP.

The only way to really profit from these is to pack out the bones and sell them (or use Winter Storage scrolls) -- their routine drops are a joke (despite being "upgraded" a couple of years ago.) Whip, DFS and Veracs armor with Turmoil is probably the best way to go.

 

I have a ton of advice and information for killing them on their Beastopedia page.

Turmoil on the whole time, have a unicorn, and flash soul split.

And wouldn't banking the bones with a Yak be better than a Unicorn?

Extremes, turmoil, flash ss. Prossy is sufficient for def. Bank with yak.

Shouldn't matter, I never pot def. But if you got 85 herb, might as well use ext, unless you just got it to look pretty.

I just...well..got it. Not really for any purpose. Just got my Herb levels from farming and herbs I get through slayer, never actually thought about the levels I needed for certain potions :unsure:

 

(also too lazy to do Stews :P)

With Soul Split and Turmoil you'll have no trouble killing them quickly and easily, and with a Pack Yak you'll have no trouble banking the bones for profit. So you shouldn't have much reason to keep them blocked anymore.
