June 12, 201016 yr I was wondering how important void is if your using the godsword method at barrows. I'm currently 99/90/90 and I have some of the parts, but still a bit to go before I get the set. Is it really worth it? Whips: 3 Dragon Boots: 15 My 99's: Attack & Cooking Youtube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Goldenjkered
June 12, 201016 yr Author Void + defender + whip is better than godsword, around 7 minute chests. What about void + godsword? Whips: 3 Dragon Boots: 15 My 99's: Attack & Cooking Youtube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Goldenjkered
June 12, 201016 yr Void + defender + whip is better than godsword, around 7 minute chests. At the most, use sgs for healing and prayer. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.

At the most, use sgs for healing and prayer.Nah if he can afford sgs, I would recommend that he buys dclaws instead. Healing/prayer isn't much of an issue when you can use brews and considering how fast it is to bank, while dclaws usually guarantees 2 hit kos on dharok.

Also combined with Soul Split, if you have it, you can restore heal at the cost of a prayer point, maybe. Void is also worth it if you don't train slayer and are fighting low hitting monsters. Or you do FFA, such as Bandos or Corp, where there are going to me a mass of other players and you won't be taking a lot of damage. June 12, 201016 yr Thanks for this thread, gave me the idea to try out void + rapier + turmoil + deflect. It absolutely owns. 5 min chests consitently. A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!
June 13, 201016 yr Yeah, it's kind of fun. Here's a bit of my guide for ya. Level and Quest Requirements: -90+ Attack -90+ Strength -90+ Defence -70+ Prayer -90+ Hitpoints -80+ Ranged Note: You can try this at lower melee levels but you won't have a lot of high hits [hide=Gear] Gear in words: -Head: Void Melee Helm -Chest: Void Robetop -Legs: Void Robebottom -Neck: Amulet of Fury > Amulet of Glory > Amulet of Strength -Left Hand: Nothing -Right Hand: Armadyl Godsword, or Saradomin Godsword (With Armadyl you will have high hits with the special, but Saradomin one heals your HP and Prayer with the special, it's up to you to decide which you like the most) -Feet: Dragon Boots > Rune Boots > Adamant Boots -Hands: Void Gloves -Finger: Berserker Ring (Not shown in picture) > Warrior Ring > Archers Ring > Ring of Life -Back: Trimmed Skill Cape > Fire Cape > Untrimmed Skill Cape -Quiver: Broad Bolts Inventory: -Super Set (One Super Attack Potion, one Super Strength Potion and one Super Defence Potion) -Spade -1 Prayer Potion -Abyssal Whip or any other Melee Weapon -Dragonfire Shield (Rune Defender will do though) -Rune Crossbow -Void Range Helm -Teleport to House Tab -Rest with food, Monkfish will do NOTE: In the picture there is an Enhanced Excalibur, this is in case you brought Bandos or Zamorak Godswords, since their special attacks are pretty much useless here you might want to use this sword to heal yourself (You can try using the Bandos Godsword's special though, considering it lowers the opponent's defence level)[/hide] Risk: High (Void and about 1,8m-2m). Cost: Medium (5k+, this may vary because you can use a lot of food if you get hit high). Order: -Kill Dharok, praying Melee the whole fight -Kill Karil, praying Ranged the whole fight -Kill Guthan, Torag, Verac and Ahrim, if you have leftover prayer from the fight with Karil, use piety until your prayer runs out -Go down into the tunnels -Get your desired KC -Loot the Chest NOTE: If you're using the Armadyl Godsword, use the special only when your oponent is at 60%+ of health, since it can hit 70s, you want your opponent to have enough health to take the whole damage (Would be a waste to use the special only for it to hit 20-30, wouldn't it?) In case of: Dharok in the tunnels, just Range him using one of the corner safespots, or you can bring some magic equipment (Staff + Runes only) to mage him, you should not attempt to kill Dharok by meleeing him without using Melee Prayer
