Been playing RS for a little over 4 years, but what is prayer flashing ?

Basically, prayer flashing is switching prayers like piety or protect mellee on just for when the animation for the attack begins, then switching the prayers off for when there's no animation. This means that for the time between attacks, when you're receiving no benefit from the prayers, they are turned off and you don't have your ppoints drained.

 

Imo, it's more hastle than it's worth, but other people like the money it saves and the ability to camp it grants.

I flash soul split when I need it, but I agree that flashing deflect mage for a whole task isn't worth the finger pain :P

In dungioneering it can be a god send, if your alter is in an odd corner or worst case there isnt one...
