friedtomato7
How long does it take to get full range void from the novice lander at pest control? Thanks in advance "Zamorak pjed Zaros. Andy
How long does it take to get full range void from the novice lander at pest control? Thanks in advanceSomething like 423 games, which would take a long time. Better off using veteran or intermediate if you can. Edit:"Novice Lander: 425 games won. - should take 14 hours and 16 minutes for full void at 2 minutes a game."Source:http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Void_Knight_equipment
friedtomato7
That leads to a seccond question. Is range void worth it? "Zamorak pjed Zaros. He would have won 1v1." Andy
That leads to a seccond question. Is range void worth it?Most certainly at the veteran level, where it only takes 7 hours of playtime to get it. It really does depend on what you are planning to do with it though.I'm going for range void just to get quicker fire capes and maybe for red chinning, where it is very useful. Other than that, for me, I don't think i'll be using it. It really depends on what you plan on doing with it.
Grimy_Bunyip
I can't imagine range void being worth it.it takes 7 hours and it has a +10% ranged strength bonus?you'd have to range for *at least* 70 hours to justify an investment like thatmuch more to start profiting off it.at my level, i'd get 99 ranged long before that happens. That and void range is fairly useless against most boss monsters, due to their high defense.black dhide, armadyl, etc is still better than void range on plenty of monsters. that and you can't wear void range with a slayer helmet.the number of scenarios where void range is too few.Unless you plan on going 70-99 range on nothing but living rocks or something else with comparably pathetic defenseor unless you just like collecting stuff. I'd advise against it.
Legionwizard
Veteran boats seem to get fast wins, as I myself am back into that game. If you feel like not scrambling your brain too much, knight defence can always use some hands as it's a tad less chaotic. For slayer, range void has lost its appeal, but it definitely remains good armour (e.g. TD's, chinning etc... ). Also they're planning void knight quests, so you never know if they might add enhancements to the armour as rewards. Achieved quest (07/08/2009), woodcutting (28/06/2010), attack (21/07/2010), strength + constitution (07/08/2010), defence (26/09/2010), summoning (13/01/2011), herblore (03/03/2011), cook (31/08/2012), firemaking (01/09/2012), magic (08/09/2012), prayer (16/09/2012) and ranged (29/10/2012) capes.
