How do you sell junk?

Featured Replies

So I went to the RSOF and an example was "selling junk 10m (40/60)"

What does the 40/60 mean?

I want to know how I can sell my 4.7m stable junk.

I know 40/60 means 40% junk and 60% cash; however, I don't know whether that would mean he is selling 4mil junk and 6mil cash or selling for 4mil junk and 6mil cash.

I would just suggest getting some battle robes or something?

I don't see the point of people buying junk, I mean the whole point of junk is to balance street prices/ trade limit. And it's junk b/c no one buys it.

So you should just keep it and get rid of it later on by lending out claws/ags/etc.

1. dump it in the GE for min and wait

2. Lend a gs/claws

3. snipe bob shirts/crowns/battle robe peices and sell them with the junk.

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.
...
It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

w2 lending out stuff is really the most "profitable" . I just bring a host of stuff and wait till i see someone spamming to borrow something i have.

try selling the rest for min, getting market price for lending is always better if possible though :D

Ya, I figured lending items would be the easiest way. I'll be doing that while putting the rest in the ge.

But still, how does the 40/60 thing work?

10m stable junk.

Sell 50/50. 5m cash, 5m crashing junk.

Sell crashing junk for 40/60 or 30/70 or something. 30/70 = 1.5m cash, 3.5m stable junk

So now you have 6.5m cash, 3.5m stable junk. Much better than 10m stable junk

It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. Everything you've said is 100% accurate a true.

That being said...your a [bleep]ing [bleep] douchebag, and none of your advice will ever (or should ever) be taken seriously because of it.

disregard good advice because the giver is a douche

First part is right, second part is wrong. No one buys crashing junk with anything but crashing junk.

Wow, that sounds really complicated and a waste of time. For the time being, I'll just leave offer in the ge and hopes it gets merched or something. Thanks.

To get rid of junk, I always just lent out items. Imo it's too much of a hassle to know all the street prices and the status of risings, etc. It's so much simpler to say, "screw the market" and lend out a godsword or something.
