What to gather before becoming P2P again...

So what's up?

I like to slay. So I'm getting 60-65-60 combats. And then getting P2P to get my slay on.

So I'm probably going to get 99FM, 70 Mining/Mage/Smithing/Range/Fishing/Woodcutting/Cooking and 44RC.

Plus, I'll have most/all the logs to get to 99 Fletching, in a short period of time (lolz). And I'd like to have 10M liquid cash. (Excess for new armour as soon as I get P2P).

Now, I'll probably spend my first two weeks doing Agility/Thieving, for quests/general pwnage. I might hunt a bit, but idk if I cbf to get all the way to 63 to start earning $$s.

I haven't started Dungeon yet, because I'm old... and it's new. :P

So question time :D. How else could I be prepared to get an explosion of levels when I get to P2P?

I thought about Herblore, is it worth gathering my seconds, and waterfilled vials, before I become P2P?

Anything else I should do? Advice is nice. Lol, that rhymed xD

You could spend some time in FoG getting battle robes, but I wouldn't bother with vials or eyes of newt in terms of herbs seconds.

Battle robes? Why? :P

I mean more than eyes of newts. Like chocolate bars, limpwort roots etc. All are useful for herblore, but I see no reason to train it other than quests... This is a fair assumption?

Herb is useful to train, but it only because of the high lvl pots at lvl 83+. Plus you won't use that many chocolate bars and limp roots are usually very quick to buy. And Battle Robes because they are worth mils on the ge, even more in street value if you're willing to go into that market, and you can use them yourself if you want to combat mage (The effect combined with the SoL=win).

If I were you, I would be training skills that you will either need in p2p for quests, or moneymaking (ie: get 44 rc in f2p so you can craft nats). Failing that, you could simply work on getting your f2p skills high so that you dont need to spend as much time when you get p2p. Try training skills where you can train as or almost as efficiently in f2p as p2p. For example, superheating is good smithing and mage exp in both versions of the game. Firemaking is almost as fast in f2p as p2p (only difference being gloves/ring). Easy to get 99 fm in f2p. You could also work on getting lots of cash. That will be key when you get membs.

This is my plan.

All F2P quests done.

60 - 65 - 60 Melees. With cash to buy armour as soon as I can.

50 Range. For Ava's Accumulator so I don't waste arrows.

70+ Magic. Superheating Iron.

XX Prayer. I'm going to kill Green Dragons, or save up cash to either Ecto or Altar to 52/60.

80 Woodcutting. Just 'cause.

99 Firemaking. Because it's easy, and I'll have the logs/cash.

70+ Mining. Superheating Iron/Rune Essence for 1-44 Runecrafting.

70+ Smithing. Superheating Iron

70+ Fishing. For Monks when I get P2P, Lobsters/Swordies for cash.

70 Cooking. Because I already have it.

44 Runecrafting. For leet nat craftin skeelz.

In my bank:

All the vials/seconds for 1-(insert quest req.) Herblore

All the logs for 1-70 fletching.

46 Dungeon for Bonecrusher :D

Sounds good?

The whole set is about 2m on the GE, but easily 5-10x more than that in terms of street value.

The absolute best usage for them would be bursting/barraging rock lobsters. Anything else and it's almost a waste of tokens. I'd say the closest contender for their use after ice spells would be surge spells.

Just make sure you don't get side tracked by all of the things you can do in P2P. If you're making a goal/plan, be sure to stick to it and complete it before moving on to something else. Otherwise, you'll get nothing done. ;)

I agree, but you should familiarize yourself with P2P before you start setting up any long term goals. I suggest getting 50 in each memb skill, and getting a bunch of quests done before you start setting up any goals for 99s. The basis in each skill will allow you to become familiar with how the skill works, and the quests will give you access to more parts of the game.

666 posts Geesch. :P

Yeah, I mean I've done a lot of P2P before. But I definitely plan on getting high agility (up to Ape Atoll course) and then fletching all the logs I have, before doing anything major.

Probably, do some thieving/herblore for quests then Slayer for Combat/Charms... All while farming ;)

Construction is a far way off. :P
