Also does it not seem suspicious more so in that the tip.it item database already has all those items with perfectly up to date images?

There was data missing from many of the items, as I noticed when I was trying to compare the Elemental Body Shield to the Elemental Mind Shield, the former of which has no stats posted whatsoever.
