What to train?

Featured Replies

I need some advice on which skills to train, and how to do that with minimal money loss.

Here are my stats:

I am currently training crafting and runecrafting.

(Don't say to train dungeoneering.)

I know mining rune essence is low experience, but for some mining exp you could always mine your own essence, craft the runes for runecrafting exp, and then sell these runes at a profit to help fund your crafting.

Woodcutting and firemaking are simple. Cut logs at draynor willows and then burn them at FOG or the grand exchange.

Fishing and cooking go together hand in hand. Train at barb village, cook/drop fish there until you are a high enough level to fish lobsters decently (50-55+) and fish them on karamja.

Combat is easy enough, and will need raising. Try training at the stronghold of security on Flesh Crawlers, some of the best experience you can get in F2P.

Keep up the mining. As your mining level progresses, it'll help you earn quite a bit of money (mining, fishing, and woodcutting are all good 'money-makers,' as opposed to skills where money is needed to purchase materials).

I would say get ranged up alongside your CB. Hill Giants are crowded at peak hours, but anyhow you'll want to focus your CB and ranged training around (Hill, Moss, and Ice) Giants because they drop Big Bones, which are great for raising your prayer level quite quickly.

Go for 50 runecrafting. Great Orb Project is very good cash for F2P.

Exactly, If your willing to spend what I believe cost me about 400k crafting earth runes from 30-50 along with the earth rc gloves from Fog, It will be a very good money-maker in the long run.

It's not true that life is one damn thing after another; it is one damn thing over and over.

Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you walk into an open sewer and die.

Crime does not pay ... as well as politics.

and........

I'm awesome.

Runecrafting for GoP, or mining.

For an in-depth mining guide, look at mine in the AoW. The link is in my sig.

Mining or RC, yes, I understand. But those are all boring skills to train. I need something more exciting, or a sociable skill (like woodcutting).

i would say keep runecrafting as it is a very profitable skill, although it is hard to lvl after a while

Runecrafting is alright, but it's not quite as profitable as other skills in F2P since there are no double nats or anything.

Since you're training crafting, help feed the need for unstrung gold amulets in the P2P game. You make some tidy profit, level skill, and inject some much needed ammys to other players
