July 11, 201015 yr I like the first one, Haydn, good job. I think the second one looks unexposed - when doing panoramas, take more pictures - it just looks like a single shot at the moment. Panorama's are to showcase what you can't in one shot. For a stitching program, I'd suggest Microsoft ICE or Autopano Pro. 3rd shot seems to be out of focus - nice colors, just need to use a tripod for night shots ;) 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM

Yeah, I was hoping it was just focus to infinity... Also, both the first and third look like they have been raped by .JPEG? I am using Lightroom and save it as 100% JPEG. July 12, 201015 yr .JPG will degrade in your hard drive over time. Every time you load and save the image it degrades from the quality (if you've had them in your HDD a while - the longer they've been around the worse the quality gets). Not to mention they're only 8-bit images too, so full color can't be represented. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM

I've had .jpegs on my HDD for 2 years, and they still seem okay.

July 12, 201015 yr Author What filetype are you shooting in? .ARW (My camera's RAW) I think in Lightroom I was choosing the wrong Colorspace. Anyway, I'm exporting them to photoshop now instead and saving them that way... EDIT: Does the first look like it has been less raped by .JPEG now? July 14, 201015 yr I tried to do a little bit of manipulation on one of them, just gamma correction, an unsharp mask, hue/saturation, and curves. I decided I liked the orange and purple. The gamma is wrong here (It's darker than it should be) but I can't be bothered to correct it again.
