But ape atoll barraging (which is fastest iirc) is done without ice spells, so as not to mess up spawns. I wouldn't get the Tome of Frost solely for cheaper teleports, but it's no doubt not useless. Zaaps1 Posted July 19, 2010 Share Posted July 19, 2010 Definitely Chaotic shield if you can't afford a Divine or Elysian. Longbow sight is actually useful since f2p FOG is easier and quicker than p2p FOG (for mid-high level members, at least), and a range is pretty deadly there (the assumption is almost always that you're maging if you attack from a distance, and bind time is reduced in FOG, making melee hard to excel with). Sighted maple long with a decent range level will tear through most opponents, seeing as FOG matches are rarely balanced. This method is extremely useful if you use battle robes a lot, so if you own a set, consider getting the longbow sight. You can also detach it and use it on a magic long too, if you feel like it. ~It's Super Effective! I find that point to be moot unless you're paired against someone with max defence and HP and you have like 50 ranged. The defence levels in FoG are already severely reduced so I'd rather have the speed of the shortbow.
