Windows movie maker would work great if you are running windows, otherwise I'm sure I can find numerous free ones which would work.

Yeah, I'm on windows. Don't really wan't any software from Microsoft though, any suggestions for free software ?

Although personally I think it's a bit of a hassle when you're just going to do a simple album art/music video, Avidemux looks pretty good. Failing that, Blender would work but it is complete overkill.

Argh, Avidemux was not helpful in doing what I wanted to. I'll settle for using Windows Movie Maker, but I cant find a good download for the XP version. They're either all for Vista or I need to do all this other [cabbage] to be able to get it from the Windows website. I've tried uMusic, but it just ate up my memory and took a long time. Anything else ?

What music I mean? Isn't most of it copyrighted, so you "can't"/ not allowed to?

Various bootlegs and B-sides I wanted to share, ha, I tired uploading one and I got a email from YouTube :

Dear - NAME -

Your video, - SONG -, may have content that is owned or licensed by Sony Music Entertainment.

No action is required on your part; however, if you are interested in learning how this affects your video, please visit the Content ID Matches section of your account for more information.

Sincerely,

- The YouTube Team

Doesn't matter really, won't get that many views [i'm guessing], I'll add a disclaimer, post a link to a legit download. [bleep] it.

You can download the XP version of WMM off of Microsoft's site, I have Windows 7 so that what I did. Import the mp3 file and the album art or whatever you want, and make it into a video and upload it.

I had a feeling that would happen. If they were live versions you recorded yourself you'd be ok.
