December 4, 200520 yr i'll just copy and paste my response from another similar topic in the General RS board: I personally hope that an idea i posted in another thread is used: Basically, you find santa, who gives you a bag of 3 gifts addressed to specific NPCs. You have to track them down and give them their reward. Then, either Santa Teleports to you, you to him, or you go back to see him (which ever is most feasable), and he decides to give you a present box for your hard work. You open it to get a Candy Cane staff, same stats as the plain magic staff, but shaped like a giant Candy Cane. Oh! I got another Idea! what if they made a special "SnowBall" spell, same stats as maybe fire strike, but with water mind and air, and no other effects. And make it exclusice to the Candy Cane. It would be a fun spell, nothing else...

It would be a fun spell, nothing else... i like this idea but instaed of candycane staff you get all candycane sword, staff,and bow the swords stats are the same as black long sword but its a shimitar and anyone can use it that has it and you can get a new one from the swords store in varrok the . the candy cane bow has the same stats as willow short bow and can get a new one at the ranger shop. the candy cane staff would have one thing it would be able to cast snow ball and it be reobtained in the staffs shop in varrok. or instead of getting all of them you can get a candycane ticket and you can get one of them or see santa 3 times and you can get all of them and you can get an emote called snowball that lets you throw a snowball anytime anywhere like the rubber chichen canhit people anytime anywhere
December 5, 200520 yr instead of semiuseless chirstmas drops, how about a christmas gag! All Dragon equipment gets white stripes! (candycane equipment :wink: ) Mistic stuff gets a little bit of an elf touch, (kind of makes players look like elves already) Everyone grows some nice big ears. U know, little gags like those! P.S. Snow would b awsome to though!

How about make a ranged weapon much like darts and throwing knives... snowball? You can buy it off Santa for 1 gold piece each, and you can throw them at people even out of Wilderness... but don't do damage, of course. Someone who's hit will... well, do a "hit" animation, much like when you get hit by an attack... (so if you have a shield, you'll use it to shield against snowballs = =") They only require level one ranged to use, so anyone can use them. Why do you resist?
