Nice sketch, your proportions seem all quite good. Shading is great, not much needed to improve. The fire in BG is cool too. :)

I drew it with the usual, a 0.5mm HB pencil. smudging isn't an issue anymore because I draw with a sheet of scrap paper under my hand. It's annoying to wash off pencil stains.

best part about it is the axe man , great job

nice, i like it alot actually, and yea the best part is the axe i like the blood dripping off the shield to. =)

I really like this sketch and I don't think the hands are bad at all. All I think is that his legs are a bit short and the axe should be held nearer the end - other wise the person striking wouldn't be able to get any leverage.
