sunbladedrgn Posted July 25, 2010 Share Posted July 25, 2010 I hope I get an answer quickly since I'm sitting outside the dungeon right now unsure if I should continue. Anyway...I've read up on using the 'Reset' on the ring but I'm still a little lost. I was level 36 Dungeoneering (floor 18 max) and I completed floor 18. I got the message that my level was insufficient to go to the next floor so I stopped and exited the dungeon. I then ran around and opened all the resource dungeons I could and got my level up to 39 (floor 20 max). I did NOT click reset yet, figuring I would just go do floor 19 now. Now I am standing outside the dungeon and when I click to start a dungeon it only goes up to 18 (even though I 'unlocked' level 19). It seems as if I need to redo floor 18. If I do this... 1. does my 'progress/prestige' reset to 0?2. should I click 'reset'?3. if I do click 'reset' do I have to go through all 18 floors again before my prestige will start to increase again? Troacctid Posted July 25, 2010 Share Posted July 25, 2010 You don't need to reset your prestige just yet. You can only access a new floor by playing through the floor above it. Zephy Posted July 25, 2010 Share Posted July 25, 2010 1. When you reset, your current progress is set to 0. Your previous progress is set to your old current progress. Prestige is only given for floors you have not yet raided in your current run, and it is based on the greater of your current or previous progress. 2. You should reset when you have no floors left to do on the current run, that is, every floor has a check mark in the selector. Right now, go do 19 then 20 first. 3. Well, you'd still get prestige from your old progress. But, to get more, you need your current progress to exceed it, which comes from unlocking new floors as well as completing old ones. Just to be clear. After you reset, you'll still get prestige calculated off the 20, until such a time as you'd get greater prestige from your current progress in your next run.
