July 28, 201015 yr Well i plan to head back to barrows for a while to make back the 5m i lost trying to beat nomad (to no avail he still kicked my arse). So i was planning to use Guthans + Black Sally (Cant get the Ancients + Black sally method down right) or SoL + Guthans + Slayer dart / Fire bolt (with chaos gaunts). My question is which would be more effective? [spoiler=Guthan's + Black Salamander Setup] [spoiler=Guthan's + SoL (Slayer Dart / Fire Bolt) Setup]
July 28, 201015 yr Melee Ahrim/Karil.Don't bother with the bow.You should really get the hang of ancients+sally, it is a very good method.For the SOL setup you could swap the mage book for a spirit shield(normal version, not the blessed one or the expensive parts).I'd go with the SOL option.Goodluck.

As far as not freezing, magic bonus DOES matter. Try not to go below -15. (a god cape will really help with this.) As for not killing before unfrozen, even with ice barrage I don't always kill them in time, its normal to freeze twice. Just wait till they move and attack you, freeze, and sidestep again. Once i get some more money ill buy a Ah top use godcape and v skirt and try again but for now i cant afford to use ancients.

Once i get some more money ill buy a Ah top use godcape and v skirt and try again but for now i cant afford to use ancients. blitz, allways use the spell that holds longer. and what do you mean, cant afford it? your using maby 8-10 casts per chest at most, and you get your runes free from the chest. Untill you can get ah, just use a mystic top. itl probably get you out of the negatives, and the rest of guthans armor is more than enough to tank with. July 28, 201015 yr Blitz is 4 attacks before you have to move, 5 if you're lucky. 6 brothers needing 4-6 blitzes max a run, should barely cost you anything. And as Link said, if you can't afford the ahrims then a mystic/dragon hai top will suffice. Why can't the Big Bang be done by the hand of God?It could have, but it is next to impossible because it also could have been caused by the flying spaghetti monster, or one of the other infinite number of deity possibilities.
