low risk bandos set up

if i use an obby shield what is a good set up that would keep a longsword chaotic and claws or a rapier chaotic and claws

 

and is obby rune defender or blessed spirit better

 

i want a setup tat would keep both chaotic weapon and claws on death using protect item but still effective.

Given claws are only used for pking I feel obliged to point out you do realise on normal pk worlds you do not keep anything when you die and on pk +1 worlds you kleep 1 item only?

Claws are not only for pking. They are the best special weapon for training and every melee boss except corp beast.

 

D claws: 81k

Longsword: 78k

 

So you can have two items that alch for more than those. Fury is the only other item you'll be bringing that has a higher alch. You could bring a DFS or a better shield too, and those would be your four items.

Claws are used for any melee bosshunting(ok, corp is an exception) as they are extremely accurate and can hit up to ~900 per spec. They are also usually used for slayer to increase DPS, unless you are cheap and like EE more.

 

If you have protect item on all the time you should be able to carry 3 items that protect over CLS, a selection of bandos tassets/bandos chestplate, fury, barrows helms(not too sure on this)/leg armor and patebodys. I'd probably use rune defender, neit, karils top, v skirt/tassets and fury, seems like the best package, might want to use the shield but then you are going to have to use protect item.
