Lews_Therin
Are jagex ever gonna make it possable to listen to the sounds while playing Mozilla Firefox 5.0? There is no Firefox 5.0, only Firefox 1.5. Also, try using Microsoft's Java instead of Sun Java (wasn't that what stopped sound from working?) Vape
I agree with Lews_Therin, there is no Firefox 5. The most recent public version is 1.5.0.1. As for when Jagex will make sound work in Firefox - I suggest you ask them through customer support ;) Btw, if you get an answer that actually contains some information, I'd be very happy to hear from you. Where the bloody hell are you?
blast5226ball
I agree that that's no mozilla firefox 5.0. I'm using mozilla firefox 1.5.0.1. I don't know where is firefox 5.0. But it's true that when playing runescape with mozilla firefox (high detail) you'll listen nothing, means no sound. Although no sound or music, the game still running smoothly, so...i didn't care too much to it. But i don't know why that's no music on firefox. Anyone knows why?? http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/1020
Mercifull
Anyone knows why?? I belive its because when RS2 was being developed there not no universal midi player library for java so they used an IE only version to get sounds in the game. They unfortunatly havn't changed the code since the new version of java which has its built in library now for playing music. Hannibal
There is a firefox 5.0 infact im using it right now Then you've either been scammed or you can't read. Firefox 2 is due for release sometime later this year, Firefox 3 won't come out until 2007, and nobody knows when later versions will be out. The latest version is Firefox 1.5.0.1, which can be downloaded Free (as in free beer, freedom) from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ .
