Mining Iron Quickly

This is a trick I recently learned and it works very well.

 

Anyone that wants to level quickly knows that mining iron is fast xp if you drop the ore. The drawback to this is you don't have any ore to use or sell.

 

Here is a simple way to get around this problem. It requires completion of at least the medium part of the Ardougne achievement diary so you will have access to the Kandarin Monestary teleport from the Ardougne Cloak 2.

 

Just south of Ardougne, not far from the Kandarin Monestary, there are 6 iron rocks beside the road. You can use these rocks to mine iron ore very quickly. Use the Ring of Kinship from the Dungeoneering skill to teleport to Daemenheim to bank quickly with the Fremmenik banker. Then use the Kandarin Monestary teleport to quickly teleport back to the monestary and run out front to the iron rocks and fill your inventory again. (Note: this could also be done with amulets of glory and the Edgeville bank, but you would have to take time to recharge your amulets from time to time depending on how many you have.)

 

Using this system, you should be able to bank 400-500 iron ores in a very short time.

I did a few runs of this exact method for zaaps1's mining guide. However, I recommend just using a dueling ring. The time is worth the cost.

Ring of kinship tele is terrible, I don't know why so many people use it.

Yeah, especially if you resell them at 1 charge.

Just a note, you have access to the teleport after completion of the Easy diaries. I know this from personal experience.

I'm going to have to agree with this one, although the spot is hard to find empty on any world, especially F2P. The main thing going for the monastery spot is the lack of competition + decent banking speed.

 

Otherwise, that deposit box makes for lightning quick and free banking.

You could always just go to the dwarven mine + bank deposit box thing.

 

Assuming lowish ping and a little concentration, it shouldnt be too hard to crash most other miners.
