Which, indeed, the pros do, but you may not. If you need to resort to using w117, then suddenly larges become a lot less attractive. A w117 team takes an hour and something to finish a large, and that's assuming you don't get some asshat who ragequits or some other form of intolerable idiot. Factoring in everything, you're looking at one floor completed per 1.5 hours. In that case, it becomes more important to get more exp out of your lower floors and do fewer larges. Then you may need to start doing some of your medium-high floors as c6, and some even as meds, and do relatively fewer larges. Doing 1-20 c1 small and 21-35 c6 med, soloing completely, matches or beats w117 in terms of exp. Only on a good day can I get w117 to match. Usually solo is better for me. Disclaimer: The above is probably inaccurate.

The Observer
In between training Dungeoneering you could also go for the bonus XP rewards such as from penguins or tears of guthix to give a break from grinding the skill. There's also rewards for visiting areas "that you explored for the first time" which are located on the dungeoneering skill page.

pokstair
The difficulty that you set is in the syntax x:y. x is the number of people in the party, can be from 1 (solo) to 5.y sets the difficulty of the monsters in that dungeon relative to team's combat level. can be from 1 to x. So, 5:5 is the highest difficulty for a 5man team. How does x:y convert to difficulty of monsters? Say, um, the monsters that are generated in a dungeon have a difficulty rating (DR) specific to the floor. If you choose 5:5, the DR will be calculated based on the cumulative combat level of the 5 people divided by 5 (essentially the average)If you choose 5:1, the DR will be calculated based on the combat level of the lowest 1 person divided by 5 (essentially 1/5 the difficulty of 5:5) The idea of weakening the monsters is to allow you to finish each floor in lightning time. Unless you get Stomp you should definitely be completing each c1-24 floor within 5 mins at worst using 5:1. =Proud member of the Order of Cabbage=

Marksman0010
Hey just as extension of this question, I'm f2p with dungeoneering level 44, on my second prestige at floor 11, is the best way to get exp still floor 1-20 with complexity one, i tried it for floor 9 and 10 and only got around 100-200 experience per level, is there any faster way, generally i do c6 and try to get all the bonus rooms. I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: 'O Lord, make my enemies ridiculous.' And God granted it.-- Voltaire
