Barrows Help

Lacoste

Recommended Posts

Hi, i was planning on barrowing the last week of my membership in hopes of getting some cash, but its been a while since i last went,

My stats are 95 attack strength and defence, 70 prayer, 91 magic and 91 range.

Anyways, at 95 defence, would it be fine for me just to use rune? If so what spell/gear should i be using, I was planning on going with slayer dart, but i felt that was a bit outdated.

Since its been a while since i've last been, I was planning on bringing 3/4 prayer potions just to be safe.

Also, what quests and stats are beneficial outside of combat ones, how can I get to the bank and back faster? I remember reading in guides that 50con was beneficial.

Thats all i can think of now, thanks in advance.

Rune Is Fine. At You level.

Depending on your prayer level You might not need that many Bring a fally shield 3 if you have to restore prayer once a day as well as enchanted excalibur to heal your self

i forgot which quest i think its in aid of myrque but it allows u to use the bank south of barrows

also good is nature spirit to recharge prayer at near by alter

Build a Kharyll teleport in your house. I can usually get 3-4 chest runs (2 prayer pots/1 super defense/rest monkfish and weapons) using a black salamander. I then house teletab out, refill prayer at my altar in my house, Kharyll tele and bank in Canifis. Finishing the Myreque quests up to the underground passage helps a lot.

Don't bother to use the Burgh bank or the nature spirit altar, it's far faster to house tele/refill at POH altar.

If you want to use rune, you might as well use mystic and ancient + salamander. Cheaper (in gear) and more effective.

You shouldn't have problems tanking the brothers with your stats if using barrows armor. As stated before black salamander is a cheap and good way to go, another decent method is using ancients and the sally, first freeze the brother, then move diagonally one space away from him so he can't attack you but you can use salamader. Takes more attention but really reduces the need for pray pots and food. Ofcourse may take some practice and may be a bit complicated if you haven't done barrows in a while. :P

(ps. the quest for burgh de rott bank can be usefull if you have as bad memory as me and find yourself every time standing on the barrows mounds without a spade #-o .)
